Heart’s Desire

Sometimes you seek for things. You crave for things, a constant endless desire. Randomly, like that craving for a sandwich in the middle of the night. It’s a gloomy day. Clouds covered it all without any rain. A cold, gloomy day. And you seek for something that could fill your heart. Endlessly scrolling to find it, but of course you weren’t gonna find it in that ridiculous fake void. You want something, and you want someone to hold onto it. Someone who would show you beautiful things. On the other side, you wanna see stunning art pieces. Things as beautiful as a pie that you eat, and it fills all of your hunger. It is sad. Missing all those beautiful things, all you had, the nostalgia. You wish you could go somewhere. Or it would be quite simple. But I guess there’s no meaningfulness in the things you get very easily.

It is hard. It is difficult. Let me put on my jacket, on that gloomy Monday, to keep myself warm. Let me carry my umbrella to deal with that rain, that wind. And go look for you. I know it is far. But I am gonna melt when you extend your arms and pull me into your warmth — to give it all. How elated it is going to make me. That fulfills my quest and fills me up.
